My stay at La Amistad completely changed my life. The staff was amazing. Nurse Kelly K made a huge positive impact on my experience. She is the kindest most compassionate person. A few other shout outs go to Alyssa, Ms. Sharon, Grace, Becca, Corey, Danny and Jenn. They were never too busy to lend an ear or words of encouragement. All the techs were wonderful too. I highly recommend La Amistad.

I loved my experience at La Amistad. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate, the food was great, and they nailed most therapy sessions. I felt like a truly received top notch care from the first day to the last. I just joined the Alumni program, ran by the incredible Alyssa, and it’s been very therapeutic and helpful. I will continue being apart of the amazing Alumni community. Special shoutout for amazing service to Alyssa, Grace, Becca, Lori, Corey, Miss Sharon, Emil, Jen, the kitchen crew, and the fantastic techs. Great facility with great care!

In my personal experience my mental health has never been worse than when I was here, negligent and unusual facility. My therapist actually laughed in my face several times! I would like to individually thank Raquel (nurse), Emil and Corey for their help.

I went to La Amistad because I had a severe depressive episode. My expectation about the clinic is that it was an excellent inpatient residential program; however, it was not. At La Amistad I was not given my medication on time because - Karen, the nurse practitioner - did not feel like prescribing my medication. In addition, I was forced to share a bedroom with 2 people, the group sessions were long and useless, and the food was horrendous. I strongly recommend not trusting and going to La Amistad if you are seeking optimal mental health.

I have been a patient at La Amistad twice since 2021. The first time around I was new to the program and scared but the staff was extremely
helpful and understanding. I learned a lot and it helped carry me through until I found myself needing treatment again. I chose to come back because I trusted the program and the people who ran it. I cannot thank the staff enough for their understanding and support. I highly recommend this treatment facility.

Because of Amanda, Becca, Emil, Corey, Lori, Sharon, Olivia and other staff at La Amistad I am clean today. This facility gave me the skills and tools necessary to take on every day life. If you are looking for a place to start over this is the place to do it. I will be forever thankful for the Counselors, Therapist and Nurses I met during my time here. They gave me a different outlook on life.

La Amistad is such a great facility! With a friend struggling with mental health and substance abuse, this facility helped him tremendously! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!
