My doctor here after recommending I go on sickness leave has decided she has never said this. And 3 months into my leave despite my condition leaving me immobile. She has decided I shoukd be on modified duties. Resulting in the immediate removal of my benefits. This malpractice will result in my homelessness.i recommend any other office

The staff are very friendly and kind. However, this is a necessary service, and it’s very clear to me that management and respect for patient time is very poor. There are no intake or triage management guidelines, they don’t take your name, time you came in or any identifying features, so you’d better hope you have a memorable face when they are selecting who gets treatment that day if it’s busy. You may even come 30 minutes early and still be turned away after waiting for an hour. You can be friendly and warm, but when a patient has been declined care twice in a row on separate occasions on the basis of the clinic being too busy it’s sets a precedent that management simply doesn’t care.

Seriously consider redesigning your intake method, the employees are clearly hard working and they have to deal with a lot but whoever is in charge of the organization should completely reevaluate how they provide healthcare. While I did eventually get care (which was fine) I couldn’t help but notice preferential treatment of certain patients over others (again, little to no formal triage).

Their solution with limited patient intake? Go to a walk in clinic, but please consider that maybe there is a reason people can’t go to walk in clinics during business hours.

I would avoid going here unless you want to waste your time or if you feel lucky. It’s possible to be treated here (3rd times the charm) but I’ve seen half the people denied service because they were too full. You may have an easier time getting treatment and testing through emergency, if time isn’t an issue.

I have been to a few sexual health clinics across Canada, this one was the worst and made me feel disrespected and unsupported.

I like Klinic and their values. Sometimes the staff are really busy which may cause patients to feel neglected at times. I don’t think it comes from a malicious place, and I fully believe everyone at Klinic is trying their best. If I have any issues, I just give them a call and it’s usually sorted out in a timely manner.

Received great care at Klinic. The reception is so organized and efficient.
Dr. Matyas is super smart and I’m glad to be in her care. My wife can’t find enough good things to say about Dr. Lodge.

Amazing Klinic!! The front desk staff are the sweetest and care for everyone that walks through the door. Brought my daughter here and the female doctor was so down to earth and so helpful and made my daughter and I so comfortable. She spent an hour with us talking us through everything and my daughter never felt more comfortable with a doctor then her. My daughter was even able to talk about Harry Potter with the doctor so that made my daughter more at ease and happy with her visit.

i would rate this clinic no stars if i could.
i’ve been waiting for a year to start testosterone, and i just got a call informing that they will be starting the process all over again. they said they tried to contact me, and they DIDNT, i have no missed calls from this clinic or any other number whatsoever. i’m heartbroken i have to start this process all over again, i’ve dealt with dysphoria my whole LIFE and i’ve just been waitng and waiting for this call form them for nearly a year. would not recommend this clinic at all. the wait time is too long, and they DONT even get back to you, they just toss your referral in the trash. i’m miserable

I think our province is screwed. I have been trying to get mental health help for years. I have recently switched from nine circles to here after being without a doctor for a year. Now I am told my doctor has an emergency and I will be seeing a nurse. And I need to call the clinic myself week after week to see a social worker. I wonder how long it is to wait for MAID.
Update: still waiting for mental health help. 3 cancellations without notice or comment from a social worker.

I think Winnipeg is not a safe place if you are willing to ask for help. Cant imagine how hard it is for people who cant ask for it.
