I visited Middlesex Hospital’s Emergency Room today for an 8-day migraine, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful the moment I walked through the door. Throughout my visit, everyone I interacted with showed genuine care and compassion. They were able to relieve the pressure in my head effectively and made sure I felt supported the entire time. I highly recommend Middlesex Hospital for their outstanding emergency care and compassionate staff.

Always had a good experience here! Security is friendly, the waiting area is quiet, patients are taken back in order of emergency, not how long they've been waiting (although obviously some selfish people in other reviews don't like that), and ED staff is pretty much always great. I've been here twice myself, and just visited my grandma here yesterday. Nurses Aylin and Claudeena are particularly great! Aylin offered to get me a more comfortable bed without me even mentioning it, since she was aware that I'm disabled with chronic pain. Claudeena treated my grandma and was SUPER friendly, very funny, really went above and beyond to make my grandma comfortable, and did her job well. Both are great assets to Middlesex ED 🙂

It sounds like you want to express gratitude for the care you received at the ER. Here's a refined version of your message:

---

The day I went to the ER, they were incredibly busy. Despite the challenges, the staff listened to everyone's concerns and handled everything with grace and understanding. Once I was in the treatment room, everyone was amazing—professional, friendly, and reassuring. From registration, vitals, and the tech, to the nurse, PA, and doctor, I want to say thank you for what you do.

This places takes "treat em and street em" to a whole new level. I was told to go the the ER by a doctor's office. When I got there, I was essentially told I was in no immediate danger (I went in for shortness of breath and chest pains) and to go home and schedule an appointment with a doctor. The ER doctor literally told me they could do more for me, but they wouldn't because "this is an emergency department, and right now you're not having an emergency." This contradicted what the nurse told me, which was basically that my high blood pressure could kill me at any time.
UPDATE: I found out two days later that I had "extensive" pulmonary embolisms in both lungs, including one near my heart. This ER literally could have killed me.
The week before my visit, my wife was admitted with what turned out to be gallstones, which are very painful. They refused to prescribe her anything for the pain, telling her to schedule the gallbladder removal operation and she'd feel better after. They also incorrectly placed the IV in her arm, causing a good deal of swelling. (It's her right arm in the photo, with her left for comparison.)
Overall, two unacceptable experiences that will, hopefully, be our last.

Absolutely disgusted with your emergency room. My mom came in barely able to walk with completely swollen feet and legs they thought she had a blood clot in the doctor's office and had sent her to the er. She waited 5 hours and was never seen watched everybody come and go guess she wasn't important enough for you guys too evaluate. I think it's absolutely sad the kind of care that you guys give.

I had a wonderful experience. With fast and friendly service. Dr Rounds and nurse Catherine were professional and caring. This was the best experience I’ve ever had in an ER.

I was in the ER on 10/30/23. I was in the ER for 7 hours in total and my nurse Bob didn’t come into the room one single time the entire visit until I requested AMA forms. I was completely ignored and received no care- except the GYN who came to see me for ovarian torsion. (Who ended up referring me due to complexity). What is this ER even for?! If anyone wants to see Bob scratching his head at the computer in front of my room while I asked for help for hours… I’ve got oodles of fun stuff to show ya.

The staff are generally great. Techs, nurses, transport, everyone is pleasant and professional. The doctors are generally smug but what's new. 3 star count is because of billing. Less than 2 minutes after my doctor told me I was being discharged I had a copay bill in my hand from a person not involved in my case. Getting a bill before discharge paperwork is just insensitive timing. What ever happened to an invoice?
