Not sure why so many excellent reviews but clearly something is not right here. Long story short, I went in for an ingrown toenail. He gave me 4 shots on the toe( that's alot, I thought) and I still felt pain when he was doing the procedure. He opens up both sides of the nail, like the picture showing on one of the reviews. I had the same problem like 18 years ago with a different doctor and was a better experience. This doctor, however, did it differently and painful. It's been 2 months now and I still have some pain when I touch the area where I had the ingrown toenail. He said to go back after 4 weeks if I had any problems and to wash it daily. Well, I did went back after 4.5 weeks because I couldn't wear shoes and my toe was looking purple and swollen. When I went back he charged me for a 2 minute visit and didn't know what the problem was, I suggested that it was getting infected and therefore to give me some antibiotics. He did prescribed some antibiotics for 5 days. It's been like a month since I took the antibiotics and I still have pain when taking a shower or touching my toe. Now, I'm gonna have to go in with my primary doctor because I don't want to pay this doctor (out of pocket)again for a 5 minutes chat. I need a second opinion on what's going on with my toe ?. He seems to be a nice guy, but lacks experience, clearly. The asian girl at the front desk lacks customer service skills, the black girl was nice though..

Went in for an infected toenail and the piece was removed. But had to return two day later because it is infected. Supposable the doctor cleaned it and I should be getting better. Finally ordered antibiotics. He said I should feel relief but honest after 5 hours. I am still in pain and the toe looks worst. It is swollen and red. Due to the doctor not giving me antibiotics I had to go the hospital and get treatment there. The concern was based on my other medical conditions that made this worst and I would have just listened to the doctor who knows how much worse it could have been for me.
